Engineering Manager

Location: Mikkeli, Finland (On-Site)Contract Type: Freelance / ContractContract Length: 2 YearsWorking Pattern: Full-Time, On-SiteRate: Dependent on Experience ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate MEP engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.Oversee the delivery of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, cooling infrastructure, CRAH/CRAC units, and power distribution systems.Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and key project stakeholders.Ensure engineering deliverables meet project requirements, industry standards, and client specifications.Support construction and commissioning activities to ensure successful project handover.Identify and mitigate technical risks while maintaining programme and quality objectives.Act as the primary engineering point of contact for project stakeholders on site. RequirementsProven experience as an Engineering Manager, MEP Manager, Technical Manager, or similar leadership position.Minimum 2 years' experience delivering data centre projects.Strong MEP background, with experience across mechanical and electrical building systems.Experience with mission-critical environments and data centre infrastructure, including HVAC, cooling, power distribution, CRAH, and CRAC systems.Strong stakeholder management and team leadership skills.Ability to work full-time on-site in Mikkeli, Finland.Fluent English and a good working level of Finnish are essential.
