Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Job title: HSE ManagerLocation: Helsinki, Finland (On-Site)Contract length: 10 monthsStart date: ASAP We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead all Health, Safety, and Environmental activities on-site in Helsinki. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with Finnish regulations, company standards, and client requirements while promoting a strong safety culture. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and site safety plans.Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments, and safety reviews.Ensure compliance with Finnish HSE legislation and industry best practices.Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training.Monitor contractor and subcontractor HSE performance.Maintain HSE records, reports, and compliance documentation.Coordinate emergency preparedness plans and drills.Promote continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance. Requirements Degree or qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, or a related field.NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma or equivalent HSE qualification.Minimum 5 years' HSE experience in construction, industrial, infrastructure, energy, or data centre projects.Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Fluent English required; Finnish language skills are advantageous.Right to work in the EU If you fit the description of the role please contact Jimmy.Brown@g2recruitment.com
